Preschool

Loveland Christian Preschool is a ministry of Loveland Christian Church. It has been in existence since 1976. LCP is licensed to operate legally by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

The Purpose of LCP is to assist in the Christian upbringing of children, which is an obligation under God of all parents. We want to teach the children about the life of Jesus Christ and His love for them, and to help each child develop a healthy relationship with other children while learning basic skills associated with life-long learning.

The Goals of LCP include teaching each child to share, to be kind and to love one another. We want to see physical growth in children along with the development of their learning. Large motor skills are developed by using bounce balls, basketball, slide and tumbling mat, bowling, hopscotch, and exercises with music. Small motor skills are developed by mixing and using play dough, silly putty, clay, markers, crayons, chalk, paint brushes, colored and regular pencils, pens, finger plays, scissors and sorting small items. This development occurs in an environment that is safe and conducive to good health; intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually.
