Do you enjoy camping?  Do you love to fellowship with your church family? Would you like to worship together in an outdoor setting?  Then we have the perfect weekend for you!  Join us at Cowan Lake Campground for a week of fun, food and fellowship!  We will set up on Friday and tear down on Sunday.  There will be a common area created for a pitch in supper on Saturday followed by a Saturday night worship service.  Interested?  Here is what you need to do.

 

  1. Make a camping site reservation ASAP (sites are filling up fast) at http://parks.ohiodnr.gov/cowanlake#nearby
  2. Click Here and sign up to let us know you are planning to attend and which camp site you have reserved.
  3. Mark your calendar and await more information

Connect Gathering

If you and your family have recently begun to attend LCC or you have returned following a lengthy time away then you are invited to a Connect Gathering. This is a chance to learn more about the teachings and opportunities here at Loveland Christian Church. There will be a light meal, time to get better acquainted with others attending LCC and a few moments to hear more about the church. To RSVP, click here. Your children are welcome so please include the number of adults and children we can expect from your family. Pick the one date and time that best suits your schedule.

50 Plus: Amish Country Overnighter

Are you ready for an overnight trip?  We will be leaving LCC around 10 am on Thursday, October 10th and will return on Friday afternoon, October 11th. We have blocked off 10 rooms at the Berlin Resort hotel for Thursday evening.  There are three different types of rooms available ranging in cost from $130 – $150 all room are first come-first serve and space is limited. In order to reserve one of the rooms, simply call the hotel at: 800-935-5218 or 330-893-3000 and tell them you are with the Loveland Christian Church 50 Plus group. 

While in Amish country we plan to visit Lehman’s Hardware Store and The Farm at Walnut Creek along with many other stores and attractions. 

On top of the cost of the room, we will be charging $5 a person for transportation, and whatever money you will need for 4 meals and the purchasing of items in Amish country.

The Truth Project

The Truth Project is a video-based Bible study looking at life from a biblical perspective. Dr. Del Tackett will lead us through 13 engaging video lessons on the relevance and importance of living out a Biblical worldview in our daily life. LCC member, Bob Steele, will be facilitating the discussion and learning experience.  Everyone is welcome to join us for this 13-week Sunday evening study at Loveland Christian Church beginning on October 13th.  We will begin promptly at 6:30 and end by 8:00. Trunk n Treat

Trunk N' Treat will be bigger and better this year. In fact, so much so that we have had to move it from the campus of Loveland Christian Church to Columbia Intermediate school. Stop in anytime from 4-7 pm for several dozen decorated cars/trucks, Inflatables, face painting, food trucks, "out of this world" guests and TONS OF CANDY! Admission and participation at the event is FREE. Papa John's and Funnel Vision will be selling pizza and funnel cakes respectively. Plan now to attend Trunk N' Treat - A family nite out.

Grandparents of LCC, you were challenged by Preacher B on “Grandparents Sunday” to leave a heritage of faith for your grandchildren by intentionally living out and sharing your faith. That task is not meant to be done alone, so, now it is time to come together and encourage one another.  On Saturday morning, October 26th there will be a free “Grandparents Brunch” in the church foyer starting at 10:00am. 

Not only does this morning promise a delicious brunch but will also include Pete Peel strumming on his guitar and a special message by Tom and Kay Moll.  You will not want to miss this morning of food, fellowship and fun!  To reserve your seat at this special event, please register HERE.  Don’t miss this free “Grandparents Brunch” at LCC.
