Shawn is an Ohio native, being born in Columbus. He spent his elementary years in Cincinnati before moving to the Southwest.
He grew up in New Mexico, but moved to Illinois for college where he graduated from Illinois State University (B.S.) and Lincoln Christian University (B.S. and MDiv.) He lived and ministered in Illinois for 23 years before returning back home to minister with us.
He married the love of his life in 2005 and together they have four children. He is a family man, but when he has a few hours to spare you will find him riding his bicycle on the Loveland Bike Trail, relaxing at the movies, or enjoying the great outdoors. He is also a die hard sports fan cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, or the Ohio State University.

"I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace." - Acts 20:24

Matt grew up in Florida, spent most of his adult life in Knoxville Tennessee, and eventually settled down in the Cincinnati area.
He attended St. Petersburg College where he earned an Associate’s in Arts, he then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Preaching/Church Leader & Biblical Theology from Johnson University. Eventually, Matt returned to Johnson to obtain a Master's in Business Administration.
Matt served in at various Churches in the role of Worship Minister for over seven years, before transitioning into the Information Technology field. He is grateful to be back, serving in the field of ministry while maintaining his career in IT.
Matt has been happily married to his wife, Spencer, since 2018. In 2025 they welcomed their daughter, Francis, into the world.
In his spare time Matt enjoys writing, reading, motorcycling, and the outdoors.

Julie Jackson

Julie is a North Carolina native but has called the Cincinnati area since elementary school. She graduated from Kentucky Christian University with bachelor's in University Studies and minors in English and Secondary Education. She married her husband, Pete, in 2013 and they have four children together. Julie has years of experience teaching in child care centers and Sunday School, as well as involvement in various schools and organizations around the greater Cincinnati area.
Julie has a life long passion for teaching children and serving others. She has spent her life involved in the church, volunteering in various children's ministry programs, such as VBS and MAD camp, as well as leading birth through 5th grade Sunday School classes.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading (a lot), watching hockey, and sewing. Julie is excited to work with children and their families, helping them grow in their faith and biblical knowledge.
Julie's Life Verse: "But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the LORD because he is good to me." Psalm 13:5-6
